OUR STORY
Collinsville Christian Church is an independent Christian Church that was founded in the 60's by the Cleveland, Oklahoma Christian Church. Through the years the church grew and eventualy peaked and began to decline, as churches sometimes do.
Things hit rock bottom in 2004 when the original sanctuary burned almost to the ground. Attendance had fallen to less than 25 and many people thought the church was done for good. After all, with such low numbers and no building, what's the use of continuing forward, right?

But God always has a plan. And from the ashes He began working to rebuild His church. A new building was constructed debt free. And then, in a way that only God could arrange, a new preacher was put into place and the church began to grow.
Since that time, we have grown from about 25 grandma's and grandpa's to a group of believers who number about 50-60. And now we have a thriving youth ministry on Wednesday nights running 30-50. God is at work in this place in amazing ways. We are not a huge church machine, but rather a community of faith in a church that doesn't work the way other churches work, but continues to grow and minister as God leads. We like to say that nothing works the way it's supposed to here, which is why it's clear that this is God's thing and we're along for the journey!
